Email disclaimer

A short legal or informational notice at the end of an email.

Disclaimers cover confidentiality, legal privilege, regulatory status, not-advice wording, payment-fraud warnings and data protection. Some are required by regulators; many are simply good practice.

A disclaimer cannot make an email secure or create obligations on its own, and courts treat their effect differently by country. Keep them short, specific and approved by whoever handles compliance.

Sendoff’s free disclaimer generator builds a starting point in English or Arabic.
