Make my signature

In Yahoo Mail on the web, open Settings > More Settings > Writing email, turn on the signature toggle next to your address and type your signature. The Yahoo Mail app has its own signature under Settings > Signatures, so set that separately on your phone. The web editor supports basic formatting and links; for a designed signature, paste one built elsewhere.

On the web

  1. Click Settings (the gear), then More Settings.
  2. Click Writing email.
  3. Under Signature, turn on the toggle for the address you want.
  4. Type or paste your signature in the box. It saves automatically.

In the Yahoo Mail app

  1. Tap your profile icon, then Settings.
  2. Tap Signatures and turn on the signature for your account.
  3. Type your signature.

The app signature does not come from the web setting. On Android, Yahoo allows one signature per account.

Adding a logo or design

Yahoo's editor is simple. To get a layout with a logo, build the signature in a generator, copy the rendered signature (not the HTML code) and paste it into the web signature box. Use hosted images; a pasted local image may not reach recipients. See the Yahoo Mail install guide and the free generator.

FAQ

Why is my Yahoo signature not showing on my phone? The app has its own signature. Turn it on under Settings > Signatures.

Can I have a different signature for each Yahoo address? On the web, each address in Writing email has its own toggle and text.

Does the classic Yahoo Mail work the same way? Classic Yahoo Mail keeps signatures under a different menu. Yahoo's help has a separate page for it.
